Katie M. Stoddard-Cox and Nathan W. Watt of John Day announce the birth of their son, Lucas Wayne Watt, at 8:56 a.m. on Oct. 11, 2008. He weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. He joins older sister, Trenity N. Cox, age 4.

Grandparents are Bob and Bonnie Watt of John Day, Kathie Stoddard of John Day, and Vern Stoddard of Canyon City. Uncles are Kody Stoddard and Jacob Watt, and godmother is Cindy Phillips.
