To the Editor:

It is a sad state of affairs in our little community when people find it necessary to murder their neighbor’s little pets.

My sister’s dog – on a run – in his own back yard, was shot with a pellet gun. The pellet went into his guts, traveled around and killed him. We get very attached to these innocent family members. It takes a mighty big hunter to stalk and kill a friendly little dog, minding his own business in his own back yard.

So who ever shot Odie, you know who you are, or I should say, what you are.

Take a good look in a mirror and say out loud, “I killed a little pet and I am a coward!”
