JOHN DAY – The Grant Union football team isn’t the only group preparing for the Prospectors’ upcoming playoff game.

The junior class at Grant Union is having a tailgate barbecue prior to the Pros’ game against Myrtle Point. The cook out will begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, in front of the high school to support the Grant Union football team. A meal of a hamburger, drink and chips will be available for $5.

The game will kickoff at 1 p.m. at Three Flags Field. Tickets for the game will be $6 for adults and $4 for kids and no passes will be accepted.
