JOHN DAY – Grant County farmers, ranchers and agricultural producers are urged to return their ballots in the Farm Service Agency county committee elections by Dec. 1, according to Larry Frey, executive director of the state FSA.

The three-person Grant County committee has one seat open. Ted Clausen is on the ballot for the post being vacated by Kim Lemons, who is wrapping up a third term, the maximum allowed.

Brian Vogt and Jason Kehrberg also serve on the committee but are not up for election.

Ballots were mailed to producers. They can be returned to the local FSA office in John Day. For information, call 575-1274, ext. 2.
