JOHN DAY – See’s Candies are back, just in time for stocking stuffers and Christmas gifts. The John Day Kiwanis Club will be selling boxes of the candies Friday and Saturday, Dec. 12-13, and Friday-Saturday, Dec. 19-20, in Chester’s Thriftway. The selections include assorted, nuts and chews, or soft-centers, for $15 a box, and Awesome Walnut Bars for $8 a box.

People can order the candies directly by calling KerryAnn Woomer at 575-3600. Proceeds help fund many children’s and community projects sponsored by Kiwanis locally.
