Some Grant County departments will close early on Wednesday, Dec. 24, and may be closed on Friday, Dec. 26, as employees celebrate the holidays.

Citizens are encouraged to contact county offices in advance if services may be required on Christmas Eve or the day after Christmas.

Dec. 25, Christmas Day, is a holiday for government offices and most businesses across the county.

The Blue Mountain Eagle will be closed Dec. 25 but will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26. The newspaper office also will be closed on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.
