JOHN DAY – Oregon Trail Electric Consumers Cooperative (OTECC) is promoting Pat McCluskey to district superintendent for the Burns and John Day Districts.
Jim Putman, OTECC Operations Manager, commented,
“OTECC is pleased to promote Pat McCluskey to this vital position, not only because of his qualifications but because it returns him back to where he and his family want to be, the John Day area,” said Jim Putman, OTECC operations manager.
McCluskey and his family have lived in John Day since 2001, and he worked for OTECC from 2001 to 2005, and 2008 to present. However, he has been working away from home for several years now.
His new duties entail managing the operation’s segment of the utility business in the John Day and Burns districts and lining out the crews in the area.
“I am really looking forward to being back in John Day. The people in this area, and the employees of OTECC, make John Day an ideal place to raise a family, so it was an easy decision to apply for this position,” says McCluskey.
