JOHN DAY – Cowboys and Cowgirls from across the Northwest competed at the NPRA John Day Rodeo Aug. 21-22 at the Grant County Fairgrounds.

Jeremy Finley and Trisha Legg, both of Mt. Vernon both placed at the rodeo. Legg finished seventh in barrel racing with a time of 17.88 seconds. She won $135.37 for her efforts. Finley finished sixth in steer wrestling with a score of 7.10. He won $117.56.
