QUOTES will be received and opened at the Grant County Road Department by Kathy Gillam, Office Manager, at 27941 Lower Yard Road, John Day, Oregon, Thursday, October 8, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. local time, for the following Janitorial Services:
Trending
1) Cleaning: Includes main office, employees lunch-locker room, and the shop restroom, once a week. Cleaning will be performed during regular working hours on a specified work day of the week, agreed upon by County Road Department and Successful Quoter.
2) Wash office windows: Inside and out, a minimum of one (1) window washing per year.
3) Shampoo carpet: A minimum of one (1) shampooing carpet per year.

4) All cleaning supplies, and cleaning equipment, (vacuum, etc.) will be furnished by the County, with the exception of a shampooer.
5) Requirements to be submitted with a quote : 1) Proof of Business License by either the City of John Day, Town of Canyon City, or in this general vicinity; 2) $10,000 Janitorial Service Bond; 3) Workers= Compensation Insurance on all employees, and 4) General Liability Insurance naming County as an additional insured.
6) The contract will be for a period of two (2) years.
**A MANDATORY Pre-Quote meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., to view the facility and review the specifications and requirements of the contract. Quotes will not be accepted, if the contractor does not attend meeting.
QUOTES will be accepted by mail, delivered in person, or by facsimile. Fax (541) 575-0193, no later than 1:00 p.m. on October 8, 2009 at the Grant County Road Department.
