BMH’s first baby of 2010 arrives

JOHN DAY – Lilly Snow Allison has the honor of being Blue Mountain Hospital’s first baby of 2010.

The daughter of Cloud and Tiffany Allison was born at 8:39 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, delivered by Dr. Andrea Janssen. The baby weighed 5 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 20-1/2 inches long.
Lilly joins siblings, Brandon, 3, Hayley, 2, and half-sister Kaitlyn, 6, who lives in Portland.
The Allisons live in John Day, where Cloud is self-employed as an auto mechanic and handyman.

Grandparents are Sandra and Chad Holtry of Lake Oswego; Joyce and Tom White of Mt. Vernon; Charles Birchfield of Henning, Minn., and the late Lawrence Allison.
Great-grandparents are Shirley Dowdle of North Carolina, Dorothy Allison of California, and stepgreat-grandparents, Dave and Cheryl Holtry of Long Beach, Wash.
With a due date of Jan. 10, Tiffany said, “I did kind of think she might be the first baby of the year.”
Hayley is reported to be “tickled pink about the baby,” according to Sandra.
Cloud added, “It’s the best New Year’s present ever.”
