LONG CREEK – Gusty winds caused a power outage about 7:40 a.m. Monday for about 245 customers of Oregon Trail Electric Co-op in the Fox and Long Creek area.

The wind caused lines to touch, which resulted in a short circuit, the utility reported.

The power was restored about 9:20 a.m.
