BMH nurse honored

JOHN DAY – Registered nurse Nancy Crisler has been named Blue Mountain Hospital’s Employee of the Year for 2009.

Hospital CEO Bob Houser announced the award last week at a gathering of employees.
He noted Crisler’s versatility and ability to analyze situations, solve problems and seek the correct solutions.
“She is an innovative employee who can work effectively with others and is able to share knowledge without losing focus,” he said. He also cited her cooperative and compassionate dealings with staff, patients and families.

Crisler was selected from among 12 Employee of the Month winners over the past year, honors bestowed in a new “Above and Beyond” recognition program. She was tapped for the monthly honor in July.
Other monthly honors in 2009 went to Brenda Mosier, Leo Placencia, Olivia Cornell, Dan Goldblatt, Maryann Blem, Debbie Stegman, Katie Hensley, Lori Lane, Chely Carpenter, Sally Allen and Brandy Lambeth.
