Obituaries: Vivian M. Farr

ROSEBURG – Vivian M. Farr, 71, formerly of John Day, died Nov. 20, 2009, at Rose Haven Care Center in Roseburg. A memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Wellspring Bible Fellowship, 2245 NW Kline Street, Roseburg.

Mrs. Farr was born Aug. 3, 1938, in St. Maries, Idaho, to Wallace and Imogene (Inman) Albert, and was the oldest sister of Yvonne (Jody) White and Darlene (Ken) King. She was raised in Spokane, Wash.

She and her husband, Ed, lived in John Day during the 1960s, and attended First Baptist Church in John Day.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ed Farr; daughters, Cherie (Jim) Terry, Deanda (George) Wilson, Maureen (Rob) Cross and LaChelle (Richard) Garza; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Brianna, Bryant, Brittany, Bradlee, Brooklynne and Bridgette; four stepgrandchildren, Luke, Melissa, Joseph and Chris; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Kaia, Conner and Rayne; three stepgreat-grandchildren, Noah, Alana and Mason; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wally and Imogene; and great-granddaughter, Jaydah.

Donations in her name may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of one’s choice.
