BOISE, Idaho – Gerald H. Fritts, 83, died Jan. 31, 2010, at his home in Boise, Idaho.

Mr. Fritts was born April 13, 1926, in Apple Valley, Idaho, to Zena and Luther Fritts.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.In 1946, he married Lucille Skeen, with whom he had two children, Sharon and David.

On March 15, 2004, he married Leona Plummer.

Survivors include his wife, Leona of Boise; daughter Sharon (Norm) Sanders of Boise; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Fritts of Ilwaco, Wash.; sisters, Vera Clark of Prairie City and Erma (Jim) Sparkman of Grants Pass; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Lucille; son, David; and brother, Walter “Red” Fritts.
