NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Grant County, Oregon, received “safety-net” revenues under the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000, PL 106-393. The Grant County Court elected to designate 15 percent of its safety-net payment for projects under Titles II and III. Of those funds, 40 percent has been allocated to “county projects” under Title III.

The objective of this project is to provide educational workshops on dry site pine forests and the impact of projects on these sites.
The Grant County Court has opened a forty-five (45) day Public Comment Period to invite written comments from individuals wishing to provide input on this matter.
Written comments must be submitted to the Grant County Court, 201 S. Humbolt, Ste 280, Canyon City, OR 97820, by 5 pm, August 13, 2010.
