Welcome to the 2010 Grant County Fair & Rodeo, where “Hometown Pride is Shared Countywide.” We are excited to have all of our friends in the community join us for another great year. Come visit the fair for an exciting week of attractions, carnival rides, animal exhibits, vendors and an amazing display of crafts.

Visit the Pavilion and see all the open class and 4-H exhibits handmade, raised, photographed, painted or collected by our residents to share countywide. While the word “sustainability” is new to many, our county fair demonstrates that these skills were never lost and that we continue to build on our traditions and heritage. While in the Pavilion, see the educational exhibits from the museums and other organizations or visit with businesses about new products or services they offer.
We have a great variety of free entertainment scheduled from Valentines Performing Pigs, which have performed on the Letterman and Tonight Show, The Balloon Man, who makes fancy balloon creations for kids to enjoy, Godfrey the Magician, the K-9 King’s flying dogs, the Super Science Company, which takes physics to a level of enjoyment (believe it or not) to several new musical talents. Dance Dance Revolution Tournament and Horseshoes are new contests for the fair.
The NPRA rodeo offers two nights of action packed bucking, roping and bulldogging. Lazy HK Bar Rodeo Company, owned by Claude Rickman, is the stock contractor this year. Claude grew up in Izee and has provided the bucking horses the last three years for Howell Rodeo Company. On Sunday, the Cowkids Rodeo starts at 10 AM with the fun and enjoyment of watching our little cowgirls and cowboys pole bend, goat tie, chute doggin (new this year) and other rodeo type events.
