This will be the second geocaching event associated with the Grant County Fair. This challenge will be a four day challenge beginning on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 10 AM at the Lions’ Deck, fairgrounds A second gathering will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10 AM across from the main fairgrounds entrance at the brick patio.

This challenge event will consist of 20 logable caches located in the rural southwest portion of Grant County. Participants will be traveling back roads and experience cache locations which are reflective of the areas natural beauty, past history and present day use of the land.

The event cache sites will be activated by noon on August 24th and participants are encouraged to review the cache descriptions on geocache.com. A listing of each cache will be distributed at the two gatherings. No computer download will be available at the gatherings.

After an exciting time of caching, please plan to gather between 5-6:00 PM on Saturday across from the main fairgrounds entrance at the brick patio for visiting and wrap up. Those attending will be eligible to receive prizes for event participation.
