On stage at Grant Union: Pumpkin Stuffers

- There were spooks galore and plenty of laughs at Grant Union High School’s "Pumpkin Stuffers" play Oct. 27. Drama teacher Julie Reynolds cast her class in the series of vignettes written by Geff Moyer, which included four witches wishing for a potion that would give them the power to fly without brooms, a zombie trying (unsuccessfully) to change her ways, and "Anne Ricepaddy" interviewing the famous Wolf Man.
The students will next perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at the school in the holiday play, “A Place Called Christmas,” by Whitney Ryan Garrity.
The presentation takes the audience to a toy store, where five toys are off on an adventure to find the true meaning of Christmas.
Admission is $3 for adults and $1.50 for students.
