The Lady Prospectors of Grant Union High School defeated the Dayton Pirates 3-1 in the 2011 OSAA/U.S. Bank/Les Schwab Tires 3A Softball State Championship quarterfinal game.   The Eastern Oregon League champs, coached by DeAnna Nash, played the May 27 game at home in John Day at Seventh Street Complex.
