JOHN DAY – The Grant Union High School Prospectors grew in the 2011 season, taking third in the Eastern Oregon League and learning from their opportunity to go to the first round of state.

For the state game, a rainy one at home, they lost 2-6 to the Warrenton Warriors.

Coach Brian Delaney will miss this year’s seniors on the team – Austin Brown, Kodi Bremner, Jared Stearns and Kyle Weymouth – but looks forward to the 2012 season.
