Walking for March of Dimes

Close to 40 walkers and other contributors set out to support the March of Dimes March for Babies program last month, during the fourth annual McKalees Walk. Held June 11 during 62 Days, the event raised money to help the more than half a million babies who are born each year prematurely. The money is used to support programs in the community and around the state, working to ensure that moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. It also funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten babies.
