IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF GRANT

Pursuant to notice made to the newspaper of general circulation throughout Grant County and the radio station in Grant County, a special meeting of the County Court was held at 8:30 am at the County Courthouse in Canyon City OR.

Present were Judge Mark R. Webb, Commissioner Scott W. Myers and Secretary Mary Ferrioli.

The special meeting was called for the purpose of making a decision on restocking the Jet-A and Avgas supplies at the Grant County Regional Airport.

Last Friday, Airport Manager Colin English reported that an increase in general aviation and fire-related traffic reduced the airport’s supply of Jet-A and Avgas to just 1,800 gallons each. He had asked the court to make a fuel purchasing decision before the next regular meeting on August 10.

MSP: Webb/Myers — to grant the Airport Manager’s request to purchase 5,000 gallons each of Jet-A and Avgas at the prices listed in his written request dated August 3.
