Grant Union Volleyball Camp, held last week, had athletes like soon-to-be seventh-grader Makenna Adair, serving and bumping and setting. Fifteen girls from 6th- to 8th-grade attended the fundamental-building camp.

Another 10 girls took part in a camp on Friday, Aug. 12, designed to introduce the sport to 3rd- through 5th-graders.

This week, 30 high school volleyball athletes are building their skills at a camp at Grant Union, put on by Gold Medal Squared. Twenty-five girls are Grant Union athletes, and five are from Prairie City High School.
