CANYON CITY – A broken jumper was to blame for a power outage that disrupted service for 116 Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative customers in Canyon City on Sunday.

Angela Perez, OTEC spokeswoman, said the outage began about 4:50 p.m. and power was restored at 7:15 p.m.
