The Prospectors took on the large and ambitious Lakeview Honkers on homecoming night at Grant Union High School’s Three Flags Field. While the Pros played hard and came close to scoring a couple of times, the game ended in defeat, 0-53. Half-time at the game brought excitement as the homecoming court made their way down the track to the field in style, and the GU Spirit Stick was awarded to the seniors. Head coach Jason Miller’s uncle served as mascot for the evening dressed as a prospector, and Rick Callahan of John Day also got into the spirit.
