Mt. Vernon’s Trevor Knowles tied for first place and earned $16,010 in the first round steer wrestling at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Knowles entered the rodeo in seventh place and thanks to his win on Thursday night moved up to fifth in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association world standings.
