Second Saturday Gathering

There will be a collective sharing time on the theme, Crossroads, with music by Kathy Rogers and Lis Davis. Complimentary coffee and tea will be served at the no-host breakfast. All ladies are welcome.

Coed dodgeball tournament

1 p.m., Grant Union High School

Evening of Entertainment

7 p.m., Strawberry Grange, Prairie City

Talents and Treasures presents the 2nd annual Evening of Entertainment, featuring local talent and an assortment of desserts. All local musicians, singers and other performers are welcome to show off their talents. Doors open at 6:30. Tickets are $5 in advance, at Prairie Drug and Hardware, Bar WB, Quilts and Beyond and Prairie Trading Post, $6 at the door, or $15 per family. Proceeds support arts in the community.

Moms Time Out-Stressbusters

Moms are invited to a Moms Time Out-Stressbusters event, with time management and stress as discussion topics. Moms will receive facials and lunch, and child care will be provided. Call Families First Parent Resource Center, 541-575-1006, to make a reservation.

Gluten-free workshop

6:30 p.m., Blue Mountain Hospital downstairs conference room

BMH dietitian Kim Jacobs will be the guest speaker, sharing information and taking questions on gluten-free dietary concerns. All are welcome to the free workshop.

Donkey basketball

7 p.m., Grant Union Junior-Senior High School

Teams will include high schoolers, high school alumni, ranchers and law enforcement. Presale admission is $8 for adults, $6 for students in grades 7-12 and $4 for children in kindergarten-Grade 6. Prices are $1 more at the door. Proceeds benefit Seneca School PTA.

Saturday, March 17

Golf fund-raiser dinner

6 p.m., John Day Golf Club

The dinner is put on by the Razzle Dazzle Ladies Golf Committee. The menu includes a whole roasted pig, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, bread and green desserts. The cost is $15 a plate; proceeds go toward cash prizes and travel costs for out-of-town participants. All are invited.

Wallowa County Sheriff Fred Steen will offer a clinic, Law Enforcement and Wolves. Also on the schedule, members of the Oregon Wolf Ed Committee will present The rest of the OR-7 Story. The free event is open to the public, and sponsored by the Willow Creek Tea Party Patriots.

DAR luncheon and meeting
