The top o the mornin to ya, from the land of the wee people. Lets travel to the home of our Irish ancestors, and the topic for this months display, Ireland.

Before really doing a lot of research in Ireland, you will need to know from where in Ireland your ancestors came, or the area. It is more complicated than searching here in the United States state, county, city. In Ireland, you will need to know what province, barony, county or town, as well as parish, your ancestor resided.

Our Irish display has a map if Ireland, addresses in Ireland, as well as some websites that you can search for more information, and their databases.

Irish research materials are also on the table for you to browse through to aid your quest to learn more about your Irish ancestors. There is also a very helpful chart to aid you in where to look for what record in Ireland.

Come in to check out the display and browse through the materials to help aid you in your search for your Irish ancestors. Happy St. Patricks Day to you all.
