Slideshow: Grant Union Gold sparkled in the 2012 season

- <p>Grant Union Gold performs their final performance in the Oregon State Activities Association Dance & Drill Championships March 15 in the Portland Memorial Coliseum. The team took fourth place in the 3A/2A/1A division.</p>
From beginning practices and halftime routines, to preparation for competitions, dancers readied themselves for competitions.
With hard work and perseverance, they went into the competition season.
To the music of Divenire by Ludovico Einraudi, the girls evolved in the season, each one making strides, working together as one unit.
On the floor of the Portland Memorial Coliseum March 14 and 15, they shone.
Coaches and the community laud the Grant Union High School dance team, who placed fourth among Oregons talented 3A/2A/1A schools.
