The Barn Birds, Jonathan Byrd and Chris Kokesh, will perform at the Diamond Hitch Mule Ranch, milepost 107-108 on Highway 19, 1/5 miles south of Kimberly. The cost is $20 a person which includes dessert and coffee. The folk duo, who met in Sisters in 2007 at the Americana Song Academy, toured the Pacific Northwest and Midwest before returning to Oregon to make their first recordings. Whenever the birds in the walls of the barn would start singing, Byrd and Kokesh would have to stop recording resulting in their name, The Barn Birds.
