The Oregon Department of Forestry said the fire, sparked by lightning about 4 p.m. Saturday, has grown to 200 acres. About 100 people including four 20-person hand crews, were assigned to work the fire. Equipment on the fire includes four engines, two dozers, one tender, a small air tanker and one heavy air tanker.
On Sunday morning, dozers and crews were working on a containment line around the fire perimeter. The east flank was still open.
Angie Johnson, unit forester, said the fire effort was aided by humidity overnight.

The fire management team includes personnel from ODF, the Malheur National Forest and the Umatilla National Forest, with a command post set up at the ODF in John Day.
ODF said Highway 26 is open, but the public is urged to watch for fire traffic around milepost 136, near Prairie Trout Farm.
Lighted highway signs have been set up to caution people as they drive through.
The National Weather Service has posted a red flag warning for Eastern Oregon, warning of hot temperatures and more thunderstorms on Sunday.
