MT VERNON The next playday in the Cinnabar Mountain Playdays series is set for Saturday, July 14, at the Burton Arena on Roper Road in Mt. Vernon.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the rodeo at 10 a.m.

Events include barrel racing, pole bending, dummy roping, keyhole, flag race and figure 8. Age divisions are open class, 6 and under, 7-9 year-olds, 10-14 year-olds, 15-17 year-olds and adults. Additional rodeos will be Aug. 11, Sept. 15 and Sept. 29. Participants must attend at least three to qualify for year-end awards.
