Eighteen area youth hit the links for an introduction to golf. Several of the youth started learning the game at an early age, while others were enjoying their first experience at the sport. All the golfers said it was a fun experience learning the basics from coaches Ron Lundbom and Pat Freeman at the John Day Golf Course (slideshow below).
