An all-youth cast of 25 kept crowds entertained with gangsters, showgirls, and “Splurge” tommy guns (which sprayed silly string) starring in the Aug 16-18 musical “Bugsy Malone.”

The debuting director, Shaylee Joslin of Mt. Vernon, led the group at the Grant Union Junior-Senior High School stage. Joslin is a 2010 graduate of Grant Union and a junior at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah (slideshow below).
