David Lawrence Byrne

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. David Byrne, 21, died Aug. 25 in Scottsdale, Ariz. A memorial service was held on Sept. 1 in Scottsdale.

Mr. Byrne was born May 31, 1991, in Scottsdale to Shawn and Susan (Kline) Byrne. He spent his life there, where he loved his family and had many friends.

He was an outstanding athlete, playing both varsity basketball and football in high school. He had been attending Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz.

Survivors include his parents; grandparents, Dave and Jean Kline of Prairie City; grandmother, Rose Marie Byrne of Kansas City, Mo.; uncles, Dan Kline of Klamath Falls, Blaise and Larry Byrne of Scottsdale, and Eddie of Kansas City; aunts Nancy Moffitt of Mt. Vernon, and Therese Ismert and Rosie Stoerman of Kansas City; cousins, Candy Kline of Klamath Falls, Jeannie Kline, and Farrell and Russell Clark of John Day; and 25 cousins in the Scottsdale and Kansas City areas.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lawrence Byrne.
