Pennies for Penny

<p>Nancy Gourley, staff member at the Grant County Library, is introducing patrons to Penny Pig, a piggie bank at the front desk. The library board is collecting donations to install a carport for the bookmobile, acquired last summer.</p>

JOHN DAY Grant County Library patrons can put their pennies to work toward a carport for the new bookmobile, purchased last summer.

The library has a piggy bank named Penny the Pig on the counter for any donations toward the cause.
