Tara Boethin of Bothell, Wash., and Jeremiah Roland of Lynnwood, Wash., have announced their engagement.

The prospective bride is a 2004 graduate of Grant Union High School, and a 2008 graduate of Eastern Oregon University. She works at Eurofins Global Frontier Sciences and as trace metals analyst. She is the daughter of Jim and Georgia Boethin of Canyon City.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of the University of Washington, and is employed at Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood.

A March 23, 2013, ceremony is planned at Tree House Point in Issaquah, Wash.
