A drawing is being held for this quilt as a fund-raiser for the family of two-year-old Jillie Thunell, of John Day, who is undergoing medical treatment for leukemia. The queen-sized quilt, designed with a Western-themed Disappearing Four Patch pattern, was created last October by ladies at the John Day Quilt Retreat. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5, and are available at Java Jungle in John Day.
