Monument and Grant Union high school students in advanced agriculture classes and their teachers gathered at Gail and Shirley Enright’s Mt. Vernon ranch Feb. 27 for ultrasound equipment training. Veterinarian Colleen Robertson and Grant Union ag teacher Kris Kizer gave instruction with Monument ag teacher Laura Thomas also lending a hand. Several of the students had the opportunity to perform ultrasound evaluations with new technology recently acquired with a grant by Grant, Baker, Union and Wallowa county education service districts.
