Snowmobilers will find cool sledding and a warm welcome from the Grant County Snowballers, who offer activities, facilities and information for visitors and locals alike.

The club helps groom and maintain more than 860 miles of trails in our area of Eastern Oregon. The countys setting in the Blue Mountains ensures riding conditions for all levels of riders back country steeps with the gorgeous, scenic panoramas, cross country riding and vast acres of play areas.

A center of activity each winter is Huddleston Snow-Park, which has a warming shelter, built by the club, with a woodstove and plenty of wood. There is a large parking area providing plenty of parking for your RV and trailers.

The club also participates in poker runs and other activities. In 2013, the Snowballers restarted the Seneca Winter Classic snowmobile races, holding the first event in February. The club plans to continue the Classic, with dates for 2014 to be announced. Watch the website for more information.

Coming soon: A new snowpark on the Blue Mountain Summit at the

Grant-Baker County line is in the works. The Forest Service has approved the development, and it should be open in about three years.
