JOHN DAY The third annual CASA Golf Scramble is coming up on Saturday, June 22, at the John Day Golf Course.

Teams can still sign up for a day of fun, golf and the chance to win prizes.

The entry fee is $50 per person for four-person teams.

Registration and complimentary continental breakfast will be at 8 a.m. Saturday, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The awards barbecue will be at 3 p.m., with the cost included in registration or $7 for non-players. There will be a basket auction at the barbecue.

Proceeds benefit Grant-Harney CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) a program that helps abused and neglected children and gives them a voice in court proceedings.
