HINES Construction has begun at the Idlewild Snow Park and will continue for about three weeks, Malheur National Forest officials said.

There will be a temporary closure of part of Forest Road 2820, from July 1-13, for road preparation and paving. A detour route will be posted. Idlewild Campground will remain open, with access from the entrance on Highway 395.
