County Court meets at night to hear from pet rescue group

CANYON CITY The Grant County Court will hold a night meeting Wednesday, Dec. 11.

The session begins at 6 p.m. at the Courthouse in Canyon City.

On the agenda for 6:30 p.m. is a presentation by Dick Haines, of New Hope for Eastern Oregon Animals, to discuss plans for an animal shelter in Baker County and efforts to form a Grant County chapter of the organization.

The Court will meet briefly at 8:30 a.m. to handle bills and routine county business.
