JOHN DAY The Family History Center at the John Day Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be closed for three weeks.

The center, which is open from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. every Thursday, will close Dec. 19 and 26, and Jan. 2. The center will reopen on Jan. 9, although open times will be weather permitting.

History center members are on hand to assist people research their family ancestry. All are welcome, and appointments at other times are available.
