Rounding up the holiday school events

Grant County teachers and students have been as busy as Santas elves preparing holiday programs for the 2013 season. Heres a roundup of events planned in the schools:

Thursday, Dec. 12

Seneca School Christmas program, 7 p.m., School gym. All students, grades K-6, will present traditional Christmas carols in Here We Come ACaroling, a program designed by Melinda Mitchek.

Monday, Dec. 16

Humbolt Elementary concert, 6 p.m., gym.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

Monument School Christmas program, 6:30 p.m., directed by Ethos Music, school gym.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

Prairie City School Christmas program, 6:30 p.m., Schools new gym. Students in preschool through sixth grade will offer a holiday program.

Dayville School Christmas program, 6:30 p.m., Dayville gym. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, written by Barbara Robinson, performed by arrangement with Samuel French Inc.

Grant Union High School winter concert, 7 p.m., old gym

Long Creek School Christmas program, 7 p.m., School gym
