JOHN DAY Families First Parent Resource Center has received a $25,000 grant from the Oregon Community Foundation.

The money, which will help Families First fund the first of two years potential support to continue its Parents as Teachers program, is part of $638,000 in grants the Foundation awarded to nonprofits throughout Eastern Oregon.
