Reynvaan crafts what he calls “good luck patriotic” gifts, made from horseshoes or deer and elk sheds, and embellished with a variety of items such buck skin leather, feathers and patriotic hat pins.
Reynvaan, who served in the U.S. Navy himself in the early 1970s, said he’s lost count of how many he’s made and given away – each one personally delivered – over the past 38 years since he began the endeavor.
People who want to contribute items or suggest a veteran recipient can call him at 541-408-8579.
