Ashland, Ore.– After 23 years in business, Gissepi’s Pizzeria located in the Market-of-Choice Shopping Center shut it’s doors this week.

It opened in February 1991 and shut down for business Friday.

One person said they were shocked to hear the news and customers on Giseppi’s Facebook page said they are sad.

Saturday, owners said they couldn’t compete with the Little Ceasar’s pizza place that opened up in the same shopping center.

In a statement on Facebook the owner said it was one of the hardest decisions he’s ever made.
