Records are meant to be broken

Corvallis police reported to the intersection of 14th Street and Monroe Avenue at 12:22 a.m. for the report of a male in the street. Police found a 19-year-old male allegedly stumbling along the sidewalk while running into people. The man believed he was in Eugene and didn’t know where he was going. He provided a blood alcohol content of 0.321 percent. He was then transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and cited for minor-in-possession of alcohol.

True Blood

A report came in to Corvallis police about a domestic dispute near the 200 block of Kings Boulevard. During an altercation between a male and a female, both allegedly bit each other and the woman punched the man. After an investigation was complete, both members were taken into custody for assault IV.

Don’t tweet and drive

Just after 6:30 p.m. Corvallis police were dispatched to the intersection of Philomath Boulevard and 35th Street for a non-injury traffic crash. A 17-year-old female allegedly entered an intersection she was stopped at when she thought the light turned green. She was on her phone using Twitter during the mistake. She was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device and operating a vehicle while operating a cellular device.

Who doesn’t like a good time?

A frustrated student contacted Oregon State police about harassment issues on Facebook. She complained that someone continued to make fake profiles with her name and pictures. One post from the fake user revealed the victim’s phone number and said to call the number for a good time. Authorities passed along information about keeping her own profile safe and suggested contacting Facebook to get the user banned.
