South Coast ports swim in extra federal funding

Six South Coast ports will see an additional $4.5 million in federal funding for operation and maintenance projects this year.
In total, Oregon ports received nearly $20 million in new funding.
The money will especially help with routine dredging, said U.S. Rep. Peter DeFazio in a statement on Tuesday.
